01. How can Dev-Vision help our company gain more customers just by putting a web site online?

02. While the project is in work, will your clients be able to see and interact with it?
Yes. You, as our client, will receive a unique ID which you may use to log in our web site and see your product updated as we work on it. We consider that our customers need to see their site while we create it because of fast and quality feedback, this way the site is built in front of their eyes.
03. Are you adding our site into the most powerful and well known search engines after the project is done?
Yes, we are adding your site into 200 of the most well known search engines world-wide (after we launch the site on the public servers). This is a small part of our Search Engine Marketing service.
04. How do your clients know that your designs will fit their needs?
By checking their site online, whenever they want, they will see the project going and growing. When they are not satisfied with the layout we are doing for them, they can contact their contact the client support personnel and give more feedback about the design or functionality.
05. Is Dev-Vision cloning sites?
If the client owns the legal rights to use the layout of the original site, which we are supposed to clone, yes, we would clone the layout and make a usable web site looking like the original site we clone.
06. Are the sites running a valid HTML, XHTML and CSS code, validated by the World Wide Web Consortium?
Yes, usually the code is a valid XHTML and CSS code. Depending on how complex it is and what functionality the site or the web application has. The valid code only applies for the sites until they are maintained by third parties or by the client, as we can’t control the way users add content on their site.
07. What browsers can properly load my site?
The sites and web applications Dev-Vision develops can be loaded and viewed properly on the following browsers and engines: Opera Browser v10.0+ (with Presto engine), Firefox v3.5+ (and the other browsers running on Gecko engine), Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer v7.0+ (and the other browsers running on Trident engine), Google Chrome v4.0+ (and other browsers running WebKit engine). Remember that the mobile web sites can be loaded properly also on mobile devices.
09. My nephew make sites and programs, why work with Dev-Vision?
We appreciate that your nephew is such a talented young man (or talented student offering you to do the project), but from this we conclude that you are trying to spend as little money as possible for your site or program. A person without the skills, expertise and education needed to build a site or a program is useful to install a personal blog or a website for a pop band that plays at parties, but in any case not suitable for an organization, business or anyone wishing to display a professional and confident image. In this area of expertise there are no born geniuses, like there are born painters, and the education, expertise and experience is always needed to achieve the site’s purpose. We don’t think you would leave your expensive car on the hands of your nephew who wants to become a mechanic, to disassemble it. We also don’t believe you would prefer to avoid a dentist, but go to your nephew who wants to become a dentist, but is only in college or even worst, in high school. So why leave your business’s, your brand’s or organization’s image to chance? Choose a professional in this field to achieve the desired results you can trust.
10. How much, a project like this, will cost me?
Unfortunately there still are agencies that offer website design packages already dimensioned like 5 pages, with 10 links and a contact form for the price of xx.x USD. Every project is unique and should be treated accordingly and is our belief that we can offer you the best solution for each project, following a full analysis and business consultancy, when necessary, always ensuring an optimal price for both you and Dev.-Vision, based on the project’s value. We never start a project without doing a careful needs analysis, therefore each project is unique, and thus we cannot estimate the price before the needs analysis.
11. What if I needed this project yesterday?
We strive to adapt our work to tight dead-line. In business there is a simple, well known principle: good, fast and cheap – pick two! We are glad to combine high expectations with low working hours, but with the understanding that such a project will have a different cost.
12. I could not build the same project using a web design program?
We don’t know any software that can create a complete website, but only HTML pages with or without JavaScript or DHTML. A website is not just a collection of HTML pages, but a front end to a database, thus if the site is a static one, is even worse. So how do you believe that a program can create the necessary elements of a site? In addition, for any site, you need to know at least one server-side scripting language. The Dev-Vision team has such knowledge, thus we always recommend that the money you could use to buy such a program can be invested in a professional project and not used to buy a software product that could never create a site, the end result being a loss of money and time, together with a final product unsuitable to your needs.
13. What may I do if my logo was done in Word?
You may have noticed that going with the cheap version, your company or business never benefits. Often a company will have their logo designed by someone who is not specializes in designing logos, thus the end result is a small file which is not suitable for print or for the current project. A properly designed logo can be easily adapted to any size or shape and may not be reproduced in Microsoft Word, but can be inserted and used in Word!
14. Do you do free mockups?
Sure, we do free mockups for the paying customers! Although it is understandable that you want to ensure that the “right” design is possible before you involve financially, our designers must invest time and money in achieving such a mockup, not knowing if the client is the “right” one. In other words, we never bid based on mockups and any mockup will be provided upon request, only after signing the contract. If, after browsing the site and our portfolio you are not convinced that Dev-Vision is a good solution for you or your business, we encourage you to contact us to carefully analyze what you want to get in the final product.
